Jerry Demmer, Richard Peterson, Marty Amundson and Dwight Mork were all recently re-elected to the Minnesota Corn Research & Promotion Council (MCR&PC). Positions are three-year terms.

Demmer farms in Clarks Grove and represents District 8, Peterson farms in District 7 in Mountain Lake, Amundson in Zumbrota in District 9 and Mork farms in Bellingham and represents District 1, 2 and 4.

The MCR&PC administers the efficient and effective investment of Minnesota’s corn check-off, a one-cent fee assessed at the first point of sale for every bushel of corn sold in Minnesota. Check-off dollars are used to help corn farmers create new markets, increase productivity and profitability, improve water quality and environmental stewardship, and build a positive image for corn farming in Minnesota.

Congratulations Jerry, Richard, Marty and Dwight!
