Before 2014 came to a close, three more Minnesota fuel stations began dispensing E15.
Drivers can now find E15 — a blend of 15 percent homegrown ethanol and 85 percent gasoline — at the following stations:
- Minnoco in Plymouth, 9950 County Road 9
- Bobby & Steve’s Auto World in Columbia Heights, 3701 Central Ave. NE
- Cenex in Brooks (Red Lake County in Northwest Minnesota), 106 U.S. Highway 59
All three stations also sell E85 — a blend of 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline for flex fuel vehicles — in addition to E15. That brings the total number of Minnesota fuel stations pumping E15 to 18.

The Minnesota Corn Growers Association was part of a broad coalition that brought E15 to Minnesota during the fall of 2013. E15 is approved for use in all vehicles manufactured in 2001 of after. It’s also typically priced 10-15 cents less than regular unleaded.
