MCGA Radio: Get ready for Beef U

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Minnesota’s corn farmers are proud to partner with the Minnesota Beef Council and the University of Minnesota on Beef U, a one-day event that covers all things beef.

Beef U is set for 8 a.m. — 3 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16, at the University of Minnesota Andrew Boss Laboratory — Meat Science at 1354 Eckles Ave. in St. Paul. Topics covered will include raising beef, beef in local and national retail, beef and human health and how to prepare a top-notch beef dinner.

Are we making you hungry? Good. Who wouldn’t want to spend a day talking about prime cuts of steak and everything else that makes beef so wonderful and delicious (especially if it’s corn-fed…not that we’re biased or anything…)

Ryan Cox, Associate Professor of Meat Science at the University of Minnesota and Kaye Strohbehn from the Minnesota Beef Council were guests on this week’s Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA) Radio. They covered everything you need to know about Beef U.
