Conservation, corn farming and your chance to win Twins season tickets

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Once again, the Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA) has teamed with popular Minnesota Twins podcast “Gleeman & the Geek” to give away a 20-game Twins season ticket package for the 2016 season at Target Field.

All you have to do is download the latest “Gleeman & the Geek” podcast, listen for the keyword, and go to mnfarmteam.com to enter the keyword in the contest section. You can earn additional entries by Tweeting or Facebooking a special message that appears after you enter the keyword.

Listen to “Gleeman & the Geek” every week through spring training for a new keyword and additional chances to enter. The winner will be announced on the podcast at the end of March.

MCGA is using the contest this year to promote the conservation efforts of corn farmers. Everything from research to statistics to specific conservation practices will be highlighted. The contest is a great way for corn farmers to tell their conservation story to a non-farm audience and highlight the many ways today’s farmers protect water quality, soil health and wildlife habitat.

The “Gleeman & the Geek” podcast moves to popular Twin Cities sports talk radio station KFAN in late spring. MCGA will once again sponsor the show.

MCGA would like to thank Aaron Gleeman and John Bonnes (the “Gleeman” and “Geek,” respectively, of the “Gleeman & the Geek” podcast) for once again partnering with MCGA on this promotion and allowing us to talk a little farming on their baseball podcast and radio show.

That’s enough with the accolades. Download the newest “Gleeman & the Geek” podcast, listen for the keyword and head to mnfarmteam.com to win a 20-game Twins season tickets package.

Good luck!
