The Minnesota Corn Research & Promotion Council (MCR&PC) has four seats up for election in 2017. The council consists of 11 corn farmers elected from throughout the state.
Districts voting for council members in 2017 include districts 1, 2 and 4; district 7, district 8, and district 9. To see which district your county is located in, click here.
Interested candidates must return both a completed MCR&PC Candidate Information Form and MCR&PC Candidate Certification Form to email@example.com by January 30, 2017. To obtain the forms, visit mncorn.org/forms.
Farmers will automatically be mailed a ballot in March if they voted in last year’s election. Those who did not vote in last year’s election can request a ballot from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) here.
Ballots will be mailed March 21, 2017 and completed ballots must be postmarked by April 6, 2017. Results should be available April 26, 2017.
