Register now for Farm Camp Minnesota

Farmers, agriculture organizations, agribusinesses, and volunteers have joined together to organize and host the sixth annual “Farm Camp Minnesota”.

Farm Camp Minnesota is open to kids entering grades 3-6.  In 2017, the one-day camp will be held at several different locations throughout the state.

  • August 7-8: Farm Camp Minnesota will be held in the Waseca area at Farmamerica
  • August 15: St. Cloud area near Rice, Minnesota at the Schmitt Family Farm
  • August 16: Northfield area near Dundas, Minnesota at Wolf Creek Dairy.

Farm Camp Minnesota will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

This fun event allows campers to experience and learn about modern agriculture, where their food comes from, and how agricultural products are used in our daily life. Each camper will have the opportunity to see various types of livestock and crop farms including pork, beef, dairy, turkey, corn, and soybeans. Campers will also learn about the different types of modern equipment used in farming. At select Farm Camp locations, there may be even be time for a tractor ride!

The early bird registration deadline is Saturday, June 10 ($15 per camper). After June 10, registration is $25 per camper. Registration includes lunch, snacks, a free t-shirt and a fun bag to take home. Space is limited.
