Meet Caleb Krusemark, MCGA’s district field manager for SW Minnesota

Hello, my name is Caleb Krusemark, and I am both excited and proud to have joined the Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA) as the Territory 4 District Field Manager! I live in Martin County and will be covering the southwest portion of Minnesota (full county list below).

I grew up on a diversified agriculture farm near Trimont where we raised corn, soybeans, beef cattle and pigs. My experience on the farm as a child is where I found my love and passion for agriculture. Always wanting to begin my own farm operation, I purchased a 216-acre farm in high school and raised corn, soybeans and show cattle.

After graduating from North Dakota State University with a major in Animal Science, I worked for a cattle and crop farmer near Pillager, followed by a position as a night mill operator for Centra Sota Cooperative in Albany.

Most recently I worked in Texas as a livestock nutritionist. Prior to that, I had the opportunity to work alongside people from a wide variety of ethnic and professional backgrounds in a sales position. While in ag sales, I was able to teach many people without a background in agriculture about the importance of modern agricultural practices and spread the word about how farmers care for the land while producing valuable commodities, including their food!

I am very excited to interact with not only farmers, but engage in meaningful conversations with the non-farming community in southwestern Minnesota. Through this position, I look forward to meeting each one of you and to get to work elevating Minnesota Corn in the communities I will be involved in!
