Registration now open for 2018 Ag EXPO

MN Ag EXPO will take over Mankato Jan. 24-25, 2018, at the Verizon Wireless Center. The biggest and best agricultural show in Minnesota features an excellent list of exhibitors and an engaging lineup of speakers. The event is free to attend for all farmers, and you can pre-register today.

On Wednesday, Jan. 24, Ron Lamberty from the American Coalition for Ethanol will begin the day with an update on the world of ethanol. A panel on pollinators and drift will follow and Hoon Ge from MEG Corp will give a presentation on the move to B20. Ellen Anderson from the University of Minnesota Energy Transition Lab will provide an outlook on renewables in the afternoon, and the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association’s (MSGA) traditional Beano and Vino Casino Night will end the day.

The annual PAC breakfast for the Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA) will kick off Thursday, Jan. 25. Be sure to follow the MCGA blog for additional information on this year’s breakfast. Funds raised at the breakfast will help advance legislative issues important to the state’s corn farmers. MCGA’s delegate session and annual meeting will follow.

While attendees enjoy their lunch on Thursday, leaders from MCGA and MSGA will discuss hot topics in agriculture, and Blois Olsen from Fluence Media will have a presentation on how 2018 elections will impact agriculture in the state. MN Ag EXPO will close with keynote speeches from National Corn Growers Association President Chris Novak and United Soybean Board CEO Polly Ruhland.

The MCGA booth will again be the place to be on the exhibitor floor. Be sure to stop by for exciting research updates and news on MCGA-led initiatives. If you aren’t already an MCGA member, we would be happy to sign you up at the booth.

Avoid lines at the door by pre-registering online at www.mnagexpo.com.
