Over the next two weeks, drivers across the Twin Cities metro will have an opportunity to save extra at the pump by attending one of many fuel promotions events and topping off their tank with ethanol-blended fuels.

At each of the below events, discounts will be available on 88 Octane, which is approved for all vehicles 2001 and newer. Now offered at more than 300 locations in Minnesota, 88 Octane offers consumers a lower-priced, clean and renewable option at the pump. Flex Fuels will also be discounted at these events for Flex Fuel-compatible vehicles.

The American Lung Association will also be on-hand to discuss the clean air benefits of ethanol-blended fuels that have helped drive the popularity of 88 Octane and higher blends. In 2017, more than 19 million gallons of 88 Octane, also known as E15, were sold in Minnesota—a 230-percent increase over 2016.
