MCGA returns to the ballpark with the St. Paul Saints

The Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA) returns to CHS Field for another summer partnering with the St. Paul Saints. Fans of all ages will again be treated to corn-filled fun, including a brand new promotion for the 2019 season.

New this year, attendees will want to break out the yoga mat in the stands for a “Moment of Zen,” offering fans at the ballpark a break from the nonstop action that typically occurs during a Saints game.

During the break between innings and continuing into the opposing teams’ time at the plate, the crowd will be treated to relaxing visuals and music, as well as the soothing voice of the CHS Field public address announcer. Yoga and other zen-like poses, demonstrated atop the dugout by the Saints ever-popular “ushertainers,” will only add to these moments of tranquility at each home game throughout the season.

Introduced last season, MCGA will continue to sponsor the “Aww-Shucks” moment of the game. For every error committed during the game, MCGA will donate $100 to the University of Minnesota Bee Lab to be used for pollinator research and education. The total raised will be presented to the Bee Lab during MCGA’s Night at the Ballpark on Aug. 30.

Foul poles down left and right field will also again feature the “Minnesota Corn” theme—a staple at CHS Field since it opened in 2015.

Watch out for MCGA at the ballpark this summer, and join us on Aug. 30 for MCGA night. You can purchase tickets here.
