CommonGround Minnesota once again partnered with Twin Cities Moms Blog for an evening of cooking and conversation with women in agriculture and Twin Cities metro moms. The event, held at Cooks of Crocus Hill in St. Paul, was an opportunity to connect with an influential metro audience to discuss modern farming and food production.
The sold-out event began with a meet-and-greet between CommonGround volunteers, who traveled to the Twin Cities from farms and rural communities located across Greater Minnesota, and members of the Twin Cities Moms Blog network. From there, attendees and volunteers teamed up to cook a delicious meal at the Cooks of Crocus Hill kitchen, followed by a family style dinner.
The evening was filled with questions, conversation, and an opportunity to build relationships. Overall, the event was the perfect setting for CommonGround volunteers and Twin Cities moms to connect, and for the farm women volunteers to share personal experiences and information about how food is grown and raised in our state.
