MCGA to show how “MN Corn Grows MN” at Ag EXPO

The Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA) will yet again have a large presence at MN Ag EXPO 2018, held in Mankato Jan. 24-25 at the Verizon Wireless Center. Located in booth 47, MCGA will be telling the many stories of how “MN Corn Grows MN.”

Introduced at Farmfest in August, the “MN Corn Grows MN” campaign was launched to build awareness around the many ways the state’s corn sector benefits all Minnesotans.

MCGA Annual Meeting returns to MN Ag EXPO

MN Ag EXPO 2018 is only two weeks away, and with that comes the Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA) Annual Meeting. On Jan. 25, corn farmers from throughout the state will congregate at the Verizon Wireless Center for a comprehensive update on MCGA activities, elections, resolutions and more.

Ethanol and its future in retail to be examined at Ag EXPO

The past year has been encouraging for ethanol, as important milestones were met and progress was made in spreading awareness of the new unleaded 88 octane (E15) fuel option at the pump.

Ron Lamberty, senior vice president for the American Coalition of Ethanol, will be giving a presentation at MN Ag EXPO 2018, held Jan. 24-25 in Mankato, examining the future of ethanol from a retail perspective, including its growing benefit to retailers and consumers.

Leading ag researchers on display at MN Ag EXPO

MN Ag EXPO will again be the place to be for an up-close look at some of the most exciting research happening in the state that will shape future farm practices. It is also one of the only opportunities farmers will have to speak with the researchers leading these projects.

Northern farmers can again take advantage of free bus ride to MN Ag EXPO

Northern farmers will once again have the option to sit back, relax and enjoy the bus ride to MN Ag EXPO in Mankato next month. Farmers are encouraged to take advantage of the stress-free ride by hopping on the bus at one of four stops across northern Minnesota.

The bus will be picking up farmers in Red Lake Falls, Fertile Ada, Barnesville and Fergus Falls the morning of Jan. 23, which is the day before EXPO begins.

MN Ag EXPO 2017 is set for Wednesday and Thursday of next week at the Verizon Wireless Center in Mankato.

The Minnesota Corn Growers Association’s (MCGA) silent fundraising auction will be held from noon-4 p.m. and will be followed immediately by the live auction from 4-5:30 p.m., both on Wednesday. More than one hundred items, ranging from the practical to the one-of-a-kind, can come home with you if you place the winning bid.
