He provides training programs designed to improve the marketing sills of crop producers. Ed will share his thoughts on the current situation with corn and soybean prices. \nWeed Management – Ryan Miller\, UM Regional Extension Educator\nRyan will discuss results from weed management research conducted across the state by U of MN researchers. The focus will be on early season weed control and how to control escaped weeds. \nCorn Growth and Development – Jeff Coulter\, UM Extension Agronomist\nThe 2022 planting season has been challenging for many corn producers. Jeff will look at the current stage of corn development in Minnesota with the goal of assessing yield potential. \nCover Crops – Ethan Ley\, Graduate Student\, Dept. of Agronomy and Plant Genetics\nEthan’s graduate thesis research examines how implementing a cover crop into corn and soybeans effect weed management in both crops.
