Thanks to the generous support of the Minnesota Corn Growers Association\, there is no cost to attend. \nThe Nitrogen Smart program has a five-year track record of success\, with 94% of attendees saying they would recommend attendance to another person.  Nitrogen Smart focuses on how nitrogen behaves in the environment with an emphasis on helping farmers determine the best practices for nitrogen fertilizer application on their own farm\, based on their own field and environmental conditions. \nPreviously\, Nitrogen Smart sessions have been offered in-person or as an online course.  While there is currently a pause in in-person programming due to the COVID-19 pandemic\, we are pleased to announce a schedule of virtual events in addition to the online course. \nNitrogen Smart Fundamentals \nThe original Fundamentals course will be divided into two parts\, taking place over two days: \n\nFundamentals I: Monday\, February 22 from 1:30pm-3pm\nFundamentals II: Tuesday\, February 23 from 10am – 11:30am\n\nThe Fundamentals session covers sources of nitrogen (N) for crops\, how N is lost from soil and how you can reduce losses\, how to manage N in drainage systems\, and more. We recommend taking the Fundamentals course before taking Advanced Nitrogen Smart. \nAdvanced Nitrogen Smart: A Deep Dive into the 4Rs \nThe Advanced Nitrogen Smart course will cover “A Deep Dive into the 4Rs” and will be split into three parts over the weeks of March 1st\, 8th\, and 15th.  These will be offered on Monday afternoons and duplicated on Tuesday mornings. \n\nPart One: Monday\, March 1\, 1:30 – 2:30pm OR Tuesday\, March 2\, 10 – 11am\nPart Two: Monday\, March 8\, 1:30 – 2:30pm OR Tuesday\, March 9\, 10 – 11 am\nPart Three: Monday\, March 15\, 1:30 – 2:30pm OR Tuesday\, March 16\, 10 – 11 am\n\nThis course is centered on the idea that the goal of soil fertility to apply the right source of nutrient\, at the right rate\, at the right time\, and in the right place. \nRegistration is required.

SUMMARY:Growth Energy Executive Leadership Conference
DESCRIPTION:It’s a new world with seemingly daily changes and challenges. Market uncertainty became the new norm in 2020\, and showed our industry the need to accelerate innovation and market expansion\, while also pivoting toward long-term solutions that build our rightful place in America’s economy. We’re prepared to Frame the Future\, with a clear blueprint for biofuels that expands our possibilities for growth. \nBiofuels are the solution to our nation’s clean energy and low-carbon transportation needs\, and Growth Energy will continue establishing our industry as the right tool to achieve success in the climate conversation at home and abroad. \nWhile we continue to engage our global partners\, we will build upon our already solid foundation in the domestic marketplace\, expanding market access from coast to coast until E15 is the standard fuel nationwide. We will design the framework that reinforces the economic\, performance\, and environmental value of biofuels so policymakers and commercial partners will embrace higher blends to achieve their policy and business goals. \nJoin us in Scottsdale this May to learn more about how Growth Energy is hammering home our value with our nation’s top policymaker’s\, and in the ever-changing marketplace. We are the architects of our message and we will Frame the Future of biofuels with our shared voice.
