Reading Time: < 1 minute

EPA RFS Letters MinnesotaWhen the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced it’s proposal to gut the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) and slash the amount of the ethanol blended in gasoline, Minnesota corn farmers got angry.

And started writing letters. Thousands of letters, actually, with more coming in every day.

The letters (some are pictured above, stacked high) tell EPA “Don’t mess with the RFS” and should start arriving on EPA’s doorstep next week.

Hopefully the folks at EPA have their letter-openers sharpened.

If you didn’t get a chance to submit your own letter yet, there is still time. EPA is accepting public comments on its misguided proposal to slash the RFS until Jan. 28. Click here to submit your letter online with just a few clicks of your mouse.
