Register today for Farm Camp Minnesota

Farm Camp Minnesota Reading Time: < 1 minute

Farm Camp Minnesota returns this summer for its seventh year, and registration is now open for children in grades three-six who are interested in attending the fun and educational day camp.

Farm Camp will be held at three different farm locations, including in the Sartell area (held on July 17), Waseca area (Aug. 13 and 14), and the Northfield area near Dundas (Aug. 16). Each camp is organized by local farmers and supported by farm organizations, agribusinesses and volunteers.

At each location, campers will have the opportunity to learn about modern agriculture, including where their food comes from, how it is grown and the farm products that are used today. Campers will meet a variety of livestock and learn about different crop varieties. They will also learn about the equipment used on farms, and at the Dundas and Waseca sites, each camper will get a ride in a tractor.

The Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA) is a proud supporter of Farm Camp Minnesota. MCGA intern Mariah Larson attended Farm Camps last summer to share information with campers about corn and its many uses in products, fuel and feed.

Online registration is available at www.farmcampminnesota.org/. Spots are filling up fast and early registration is discounted, so visit to learn more today.
