The Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA) launched the “MN Corn Grows MN” campaign last summer to build connections with candidates for elected office and to encourage more dialogue about the impact of corn farming with all Minnesotans. Since, MCGA has brought eight gubernatorial candidates to family corn farms and met with numerous state legislators to discuss the issues important to the state’s 24,000 corn farmers.

Over the coming months, MCGA will be introducing MN Corn Grows MN to all Minnesotans to share information about the importance of corn and corn farming to our state.  We look forward to engaging rural and urban residents in conversation on how farmers are investing in third-party research, producing cleaner fuels, protecting our water, supporting communities and more.

Each week we will be highlighting a different way Minnesota’s corn farmers are helping the state grow, both economically and sustainably. We will be sharing stories that show the many ways corn farmers are helping advance Minnesota and releasing a video series on the commitment of the corn sector to building a more viable future for greater Minnesota.
