CommonGround Minnesota’s annual workshop returns June 17-18 in St. Paul with an excellent agenda designed to help attendees grow as agriculture advocates.
The event is open to Minnesota women in agriculture who are interested in learning more about the CommonGround program and gaining valuable insights from a great line-up of speakers.
The 2019 workshop begins the afternoon of June 17 with two focus groups, one made up of moms from the Twin Cities metro and the other group consisting of ‘foodies’ from the Twin Cities area. Each focus group will be discussing their thoughts and perceptions of food, farming, and Minnesota agriculture. The following day attendees will hear from speakers on gene editing communications, on-farm stress management techniques specifically for women in agriculture, insights on food trends, and more.
