The Minnesota Corn Growers Association partnered with Major League Soccer’s Minnesota United for their first season at beautiful Allianz Field in St. Paul. An opportunity to promote the state’s corn farmers, the season-long partnership culminates with MCGA Night as the United take on the Portland Timbers on Aug. 4.

The corn-themed party begins prior to kick-off in the plaza outside Allianz Field with Twin Cities Road Crew and Minnesota Corn mascot Maizey. The group will be sharing information about Minnesota’s corn growers while playing music and holding dance competitions to entertain fans.

The first 5,000 attendees to enter Allianz Field will receive MCGA-branded rally towels, which will serve as a fun souvenir for fans long after the game is over. Facts about Minnesota’s corn sector will also be shared with fans throughout the match as one of many ways the Minnesota United will celebrate our corn farmers.

An added bonus: The match will be televised live on ESPN, reaching a national audience. Kick-off is scheduled for 3 p.m.
