(WCCO Host Dave Lee will return to the MCGA tent to speak with Minnesota Corn and other stakeholders from Minnesota’s ag sector)
The Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA) has again partnered with WCCO News Radio and Fluence Media to help bring Farmfest to a statewide listening audience. Like last year, WCCO will again be broadcasting live on-site in the MCGA tent, sharing the latest from Minnesota agriculture at the trade show.
On the Wednesday of Farmfest, WCCO Morning News with Dave Lee will be broadcasting live in the MCGA tent from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. The show will be a tremendous opportunity to highlight Minnesota’s ag sector, as host Dave Lee interviews MCGA grower leaders and other agriculture stakeholders throughout the broadcast.
MCGA is also sponsoring the WCCO broadcast of an exciting Fluence Forum featuring Gov. Tim Walz and commissioners representing a number of Minnesota agencies involved in agriculture. Recorded on the Tuesday of Farmfest, the forum will be a can’t-miss event for attendees. Moderated by Blois Olson of Fluence Media, the forum will be recorded and air on WCCO News Radio on Monday, August 12 at 6 p.m. You listen to WCCO online or find it in your area by clicking here.
Also as part of the partnership with WCCO, MCGA will again have a number of opportunities to share the many ways corn growers are driving growth in Minnesota. For example, a number of promotional announcements will air on WCCO leading up to, during and after Farmfest sharing how the state’s corn farmers are working to become the most sustainable and environmentally responsible farmers in the nation.
Overall, the partnership with WCCO is a tremendous opportunity to bring the flagship news station to Farmfest and elevate the importance of Minnesota agriculture.
