A few reasons to not miss MN Ag EXPO 2020

MN Ag EXPO will be taking over the Mankato Civic Center Jan. 22-23, bringing hundreds of farmers from across the state together to learn the latest in Minnesota agriculture. Beyond the packed trade show floor, engaging keynote speakers and opportunities to chat with your fellow farmers, here are a few additional reasons to attend the trade show later this month:

  • The Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA) Annual Meeting: A must-attend event for MCGA members, the annual meeting is your opportunity to hear from grower leaders reflecting on the prior year and highlight priorities for the year ahead. The annual meeting is also where MCGA awards the “Friend of Agriculture” and “Golden Kernel” awards, recognizing the individuals who helped build a brighter future for corn farmers in 2019.
  • The 2nd Annual Minnesota Corn Reception: MCGA will again hold a reception on the first night of MN Ag EXPO celebrating the tremendous work of its 52 county corn organizations. Stop by from 4 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, for a hosted bar and light refreshments. A silent auction will again take place featuring a number of fun items and opportunities, and a limited live auction will be held this year.
  • The Future of Biofuels Panel: Disappointing actions at the federal level continued to impact the future of ethanol while exciting developments in Minnesota were a source of optimism for biofuel supporters in 2019. Davis Michaelsen of Pro Farmer, Geoff Cooper from the Renewable Fuels Association and Minnesota Department of Agriculture Commissioner Thom Petersen will discuss the future of ethanol-blended fuels following what was an eventful year in 2019. Join us during the Wednesday dinner reception on Jan. 22 to hear the panel.

Register today for MN Ag EXPO to guarantee yourself meal tickets and skip the line at the door. The event is free to attend for all Minnesota corn and soybean farmers.
