Jan. 31 deadline to apply for MCGA $5,000 scholarship

The Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA) is again providing two statewide $5,000 scholarships for college students aspiring to become future agricultural leaders. The deadline to apply is Jan. 31.

MCGA scholarship applicants must be a Young Adult Member of MCGA who is working toward a degree in an agriculture-related field. The Young Adult Membership, available to ages 16–24, was launched for future agricultural leaders who would like to participate in grassroots advocacy today. Young Adult Members enjoy reduced member dues and stay current on the latest news in Minnesota’s corn sector, as well as have access to great networking and leadership opportunities. Applicants can apply for the MCGA scholarship and scholarships offered by local county corn grower organizations at mncorn.org/scholarships. Letters of recommendation are required in the application process, so those interested are encouraged to get started today!
