MCGA podcast talks with researcher turning corn into everyday products

The Minnesota Corn Growers Association Podcast features researchers leading projects funded through the corn check-off. In its latest episode, Brownfield Ag News’ Mark Dorenkamp, who hosts the podcast, spoke with Ian Tonks (pictured) at the Center for Sustainable Polymers.

Tonks discussed his exciting research taking corn and turning them into feedstocks for everyday consumer products, including diapers, plastics and more. The research is exciting for its potential to create new markets for corn, as well as for its tremendous environmental benefits.
