MN Ag in the Classroom explores benefits of school gardens in St. Paul

MN Ag in the Classroom (MAITC) brings hundreds of Minnesota educators to farm country each year as part of its mission to improve ag literacy in schools. The tours are one of the more effective ways for MAITC to connect with educators and show first-hand the opportunities for engaging subject matter in ag education.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, those tours moved to the virtual world for 2020. The MAITC team worked hard to not miss a beat, which you can read about here. Linder Farm Network recently joined Regional Specialist Toni Dauwalter and Education Specialist Sue Knott at Bruce Vento elementary school in St. Paul as they toured a school garden and discussed the many benefits it provides students and the community:
