The annual meeting and resolutions session for the Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA) will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 20. Announced in November, this year’s annual meeting will be held virtually, allowing members to tune in from home to participate in MCGA’s grassroots process and learn the latest from MCGA and Minnesota Corn Research & Promotion Council (MCR&PC) directors as they recap a year that was unlike any other.

Kicking off the day will be our guest speaker, Dr. David Kohls. Kohls serves as a professor emeritus at Virginia Tech University where he shares his keen insight into agriculture based on extensive research, travel and involvement with ag businesses over his career. Kohls will be sharing his unique perspective into future trends in agriculture. The presentation will provide a tremendous look at the future factors that could impact farming in Minnesota and beyond.

The resolutions session with follow, providing a valuable grassroots opportunity for member delegates to set future policy priorities for MCGA. The annual meeting will take place after the resolutions session featuring updates from MCGA and MCR&PC, as well as an election for an open board position.

The MCGA annual meeting is open to all members of MCGA. For more information and/or live stream details for the MCGA Annual Meeting and Resolutions Session, please contact Missy Gilbertson at gilbertson@mncorn.org
