The Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA) grassroots members have begun the annual process of updating the organization’s policy platform, which guides advocacy activities for the year.

On Wednesday, about 80 delegates from MCGA’s 52 county organizations met virtually for the annual pre-resolutions session. Delegates were selected by their respective county organizations, which were allotted a number of slots proportional to their membership numbers.

The pre-resolution session is just one opportunity MCGA’s grassroots members have to identify and address the major issues affecting corn farmers in Minnesota. MCGA’s Delegate Session and Annual Meeting will take place during MN Ag EXPO in Mankato.

MN Ag EXPO 2022, hosted by the Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA) and Minnesota Soybean Growers Association, returns to the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center in Mankato January 19-20, 2022.

MCGA will hold its Delegate Session and Annual Meeting at EXPO on Thursday, Jan. 20. EXPO attendees can also expect an excellent list of tradeshow exhibitors, an engaging lineup of speakers and more over the course of the two-day event.

MN Ag EXPO is free to attend, but preregistration is required to ensure meal tickets.
