MCR&PC elects 2023-24 leadership team
Yesterday, the Minnesota Corn Research & Promotion Council, the farmer-led entity responsible for overseeing the Minnesota corn check-off, elected its 2023-24 leadership team.
Gary Prescher will serve as the 2023-24 chair, Duane Epland will serve as vice chair, John Mages will serve as treasurer, and Jordan Goblish will serve as secretary.
Prescher, who grows corn and soybeans in Delevan, previously served as council chair in 2018-19. Epland grows corn and soybeans in Twin Lakes, Mages grows corn and soybeans in Belgrade, and Goblish grows corn and soybeans in Vesta.
Minnesota Corn also thanked 2022-23 chair Doug Albin, who farms in Clarkfield, for his leadership and continued dedication to Minnesota’s corn farmers.
