Grower-leaders meet UMN researchers

On Wednesday, Minnesota Corn grower-leaders met with University of Minnesota researchers conducting studies funded through the Minnesota corn check-off.

During the event at Huntington Bank Stadium, grower-leaders talked with researchers about their work and learned about the latest in agricultural research. They also heard from Dr. Brian Buhr, dean of the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences.

Each year, Minnesota Corn invests in research projects at the University of Minnesota and other institutions that aim to increase the productivity, profitability, and sustainability of corn production. This year, Minnesota Corn is investing over $2 million in nearly three dozen projects.
