Minnesota Corn is excited to announce the hiring of Kaylee Wendt as the organization’s new district field manager (DFM) for District 3, which covers south-central and southeastern Minnesota.

Kaylee grew up on her family farm in Eyota and currently resides in Albert Lea. She began her career as an agronomy intern at CHS and All American Co-op, and she most recently worked as a sales process coordinator for Hormel Foods in Austin. Kaylee graduated from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business. Her first day with Minnesota Corn was Oct. 23.

Kaylee is one of Minnesota Corn’s four DFMs, each of whom works to increase support for the organization’s efforts at the local level. DFMs provide support to the state’s 52 organized county corn grower organizations, create awareness about the Minnesota corn check-off, and promote membership in the Minnesota Corn Growers Association.
