Red River Farm Network launches series to recognize FFA, 4-H leaders

With the arrival of COVID-19, state fairs in North Dakota and Minnesota were cancelled. For the thousands of students participating in 4-H and FFA, no state fairs meant the loss of an opportunity to showcase the animal or project they worked tirelessly on.
With support from the Minnesota Corn Growers Association, the Red River Farm Network launched the “Parade of Champions” to spotlight the young leaders in agriculture who would have otherwise taken center stage at a state fair. Beginning last week and continuing through the summer, RRFN will be speaking with 4-H and FFA participants about their project and their life in agriculture.
Each student will be highlighted on RRFN social channels (Facebook and Twitter), in its e-publication and on the radio.
