We’re entering the final week of Biofuels Month here in Minnesota. If you are not doing so already, be sure to like the Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA) Facebook page and follow MCGA on Twitter for daily factoids and tidbits about clean, renewable and homegrown ethanol.

While perusing social media today, I came across the below video about ethanol and the myths that surround it. The video is well worth your time. Check it out, then share it on your own Facebook pages and Twitter accounts and encourage others to do the same.

One thing that sticks with me from the video is its grassroots nature. This wasn’t put together by a professional production firm working for an organization involved with the advancement of renewable fuels. The person who made this video is simply a citizen who wants to help get out factual information about ethanol, and he did a remarkable job.

This is the type of passion and insight it’s going take as the fight preserve the Renewable Fuels Standard (RFS) heats up in Washington and Big Oil continues its attacks on ethanol and other renewable fuels.

Anyway, enough of me blabbing. Check out the video.
