Hi everyone! My name is Alyssa O’Sullivan, and I am the new Communications Specialist for the Minnesota Corn Growers Association.

I am originally from Hastings, MN and recently moved to Glencoe, MN with my husband Joseph. I attended the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities (Go Gophers!) where I graduated in 2019 with degrees in Agricultural Communication & Marketing and Animal Science – Production. After graduation, I began my career and spent just over two years serving as the Recruitment & Communications Coordinator for the Agricultural Education, Communication & Marketing program at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.

My passion for agriculture was instilled in me from a very young age, as I grew up showing cattle and market lambs in 4-H. I knew that my career needs to be within agriculture as I want to be able to advocate for and give back to the industry that I’m incredibly proud to be a part of.

When I’m not working you’ll find me traveling to stock shows and showing cattle with my husband and his family, cheering on the Gophers and Vikings, or entertaining our very energetic Australian Shepherd, Silvie.

I have a lot to learn and I am so excited to begin my journey with Minnesota Corn. I am looking forward to getting to connect and work with you all.
