Registration for the free Minnesota Corn-supported Trade School, which is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 16 at the Arrowwood Resort & Conference Center in Alexandria, is open.

Now through March 11, sign up for the event on the Northern Crops Institute (NCI) website. While there, attendees can also sign up for free bus transportation from Marshall and Fargo.

The Trade School is being co-hosted by Minnesota Corn, the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA), NCI, the North Dakota Corn Utilization Council and the U.S. Grains Council (USGC). The event is open to farmers, prospective agriculture students and people involved in the industry. It will cover the basics of international grain trade, U.S. trade policy and the latest trade news.

Since 2016, NCGA and USGC have offered in-person trade workshops. To learn more about the importance of trade to corn farmers, visit grains.org/learn-about-trade.
