What you can expect at MN Ag Expo

January 16, 2023
Reading Time: 3 minutes

MN Ag Expo is back! The free event, hosted by Minnesota Corn and Minnesota Soybean, will be held Wednesday and Thursday at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center in Mankato.

Join your fellow corn and soybean farmers for education sessions, networking, demonstrations, and a trade show. Learn about the latest in farm technology, the upcoming farm bill, agriculture education, farm safety, nutrient management, and more.

MN Ag Expo will also include the Minnesota Corn Growers Association’s resolution session at 9 a.m. on Wednesday followed immediately by MCGA’s annual meeting.

The online registration deadline for MN Ag Expo has passed, but we’d still love to have you, even if you’re not yet registered. Walk-ups are welcome to attend.

Here is what you can expect from Minnesota Corn during the event.

On the trade show floor

Stop by the Minnesota Corn booth (#55) to learn about how Minnesota’s corn organizations are promoting opportunities for farmers while enhancing quality of life. Visitors can take home a free Minnesota Corn-branded limited edition expandable ice scraper and sign up to win a premium giveaway.

See how your investment in the Minnesota corn check-off is supporting programs that build a better future for corn farmers and all Minnesotans. Learn about the grassroots advocacy by Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA) grower-leaders for policies that ensure corn farmers can produce an abundant, sustainable crop and maintain market access.

Additionally, hear from researchers and farmers who are conducting projects funded by Minnesota Corn aimed at making corn farming more productive, profitable, and sustainable. The researcher booths will be located on the right side of the trade show floor as you walk in the room.

On Wednesday, five University of Minnesota researchers who are conducting projects funded through Minnesota Corn’s primary research program will present their work. On Thursday, farmers and scientists who have received funding through Minnesota Corn’s Innovation Grant program will be in attendance.

Minnesota Corn staff will be at the Minnesota Corn booth both days to help new and renewing members fill out membership forms.

Membership costs $75 annually, though if you have sold at least 7,500 bushels of corn in the past year and paid into the Minnesota corn check-off, you may qualify for a one-year membership at no cost. For people ages 16 to 24, membership costs $20 annually.

Stay Connected. Stay Informed.
