Minnesota Corn, the state’s grassroots organization for corn farmers, is excited to announce the hiring of Kelly Susa as the organization’s program manager.

Susa has a bachelor’s degree in agricultural education and a minor in sustainable agriculture from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. For the past five years, she has worked as an agriculture instructor and FFA advisor, mostly recently at Cleveland Public School. There, Susa started a new agriculture department and FFA chapter, growing it to include two teachers, 26 course offerings, and 65 FFA members.

“I am excited for the opportunity to bring my passion for agricultural literacy and advocacy to my role at Minnesota Corn!” Susa said.

At Minnesota Corn, Susa will be responsible for helping the organization execute grassroots member activities and special events at both the state and county level.

As part of its efforts to help the non-farming public develop a better understanding of agriculture and corn farming, Minnesota Corn supports a wide variety of outreach programs each year. To learn more about Minnesota Corn’s outreach activities, visit mncorn.org/outreach.
