Three farmer-leaders re-elected to Minnesota Corn Research & Promotion Council

Three Minnesota farmer-leaders have been re-elected to the Minnesota Corn Research & Promotion Council, the 11-member body that oversees the Minnesota corn checkoff. Jordan Goblish, Gary Prescher, and Chad Willis will each serve another three-year term on the council.
A fifth-generation farmer from Vesta, Goblish raises corn and soybeans with his dad, George. He joined the MCR&PC in 2022 and is serving as treasurer this year. Prescher raises corn and soybeans in Delevan and has served on the council since 2015. Willis raises corn and soybeans near Willmar and has been on the council since 2007.
Each year, the MCR&PC invests checkoff funds in research aimed at increasing the productivity of corn farming, programs aimed at developing markets for corn, and outreach initiatives aimed at increased quality of life. Learn more about the checkoff here.
