About Brad:
Brad grew up on a farm 1 mile east of Clarkfield, MN. He graduated
from NDSU with a bachelor’s degree in agronomy and farmed before
getting a master’s degree in ag economics at the University of
Minnesota.
He then went to Washington DC, where he served on the staffs of
Congressman Vin Weber and Senator Rudy Boschwitz. After his
time on Capitol Hill, Brad joined USDA as a feed grain analyst for
ASCS where he contributed to USDA’s monthly supply and demand
reports.
Brad worked for Informa (formerly Sparks, now S&P Global), Global
Ag (a Memphis-based CTA) and Bunge at its headquarters in White
Plains, NY. For the past 5 years, Brad has been a crop analyst for
Cargill based in the Wayzata, MN headquarters. He works with a
group that forecasts U.S. corn, soybean and wheat crops.
